Firm membership supports our strong legislative advocacy programs in Massachusetts and the work of our active and dedicated committees, task forces and networks. The BSA/AIA works for our member firms in many ways, including our robust continuing-education opportunities, dedicated support for the emerging professionals in your firms, and by bringing the value of good design to the general public.

BSA Allied membership is designed to help companies promote their brand, products, and services to architects and other building-industry professionals. Examples of those eligible for Allied membership includes, consultants, builders, contractors, engineers, real estate professionals, interior designers, landscape architects, attorneys, manufacturers, distributors, service providers and anyone else who works with or hopes to work with AIA architects and other BSA members.
Associate AIA membership is for those who want to learn, network, and shape the future of the architecture profession. This is your membership if you are not yet licensed as an architect, but are working towards licensure. You may also become an Associate AIA member if you do not have a license and do not plan to become licensed, but have a degree in architecture or a related field.
International Assoc. AIA Membership
Explore International Assoc. AIA MembershipPeople come from all over the world to practice architecture in our city, famous for its historic and diverse architecture as well as its leading design colleges. International Associate AIA membership is for those who are currently registered to practice architecture in a country other than the United States.
Professional affiliate membership is for individual industry-professionals and design-firm staff members who do not hold an architecture license or a degree in architecture, but wish to participate more actively in the design community.
The Boston Society of Architects (BSA) welcomes students interested in architecture and the built environment to become more involved with the amazing committees, programs, events, learning, and networking that the BSA can offer—all for free!
